William Haley Engineering recognises the importance of making a full and lasting commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions from our activities. We wish to actively support the world’s pledge to limit global temperature increases and the impact this has on the planet.
The steel and iron industry emissions account for 14% of industrial emissions in the UK; we have a powerful role to play in emission reduction and we have a plan in place to play our part.
Although we are a small company, we can make a meaningful and long-lasting difference, through the way we do business. We have an independently verified benchmark of our Carbon Footprint (2022) and have set ambitious science based targets, with input from industry research and ideas from our staff.
