Experienced Detailer/Draughtsperson
We are looking for experience Tekla Detailer/Draughtsperson to become part of the design team, creating models and drawings that drive our state-of-the-art factory in East Brent, Somerset.
Your day to day duties will include:
3D modelling and detailing of structural Steelwork
Detailing of general arrangement and fabrication drawings
Interpreting detailed Engineers drawings and calculations
Designing of simple ‘Green Book’ connections
Liaising with all internal departments (Drawing Office, Fabrication, Erection, etc.)
Liaising with all members of design team (Engineer, Architect, etc.)
Working under pressure to achieve agreed deadlines
To be considered for the role, you will need the following:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in detailing at steelwork fabricator
Good maths and IT skills
Good analytical, communication & problem-solving skills
Good standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Good computer skills
Works well on own initiative and as part of a team
Punctual and reliable
